Most of the properties mentioned above are included in Tsuwano’s Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings. (重要伝統的建造物群保存地区）
Properties with numbers ①~⑯ are Registered Tangible Cultural Properties （登録有形文化財）designated by the government.
Other buildings are either Tangible Cultural Properties Designated by Shimane Prefecture（県指定有形文化財）or Registered Monuments（登録記念物）of the government.
