Tsuwano’s Tangible Cultural Property: Traditional House and Japanese Garden of Yamazaki Family

A western style wooden structure built in Shouwa 26 (1951) , with green scrubbed finish, and round pillars on the first floor. Several buildings have been erected in western style in the beginning if the Shouwa period (1926 – 1989), but due to fires and modernisation only the Former Clock Shop of Fuse Family and this buildings remains from this era.

山崎家住宅

　　

昭和２６年（1951）築の洋風木造建築。二階建で外壁を緑色のリシン吹き付けとし、一階部分に円型の柱を持つ。昭和に入り洋風の町家建築がいくつか建てられたが、大火などで焼失し現在残るのは旧布施時計店とここだけとなった。
