Tsuwano Imoni & Sake Festival 2025【Sunday, Oct 19】

Enjoy free servings of Tsuwano’s traditional imoni soup and locally brewed sake!

Join us on Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM at Tonomachi Street – Sagimai Heron Dance Monument Plaza for a celebration of Tsuwano’s rich culinary and cultural heritage!

There will be free servings of Tsuwano’s traditional imoni soup (1,000 servings available) and locally brewed sake!

Experience the flavors of autumn with this centuries-old local dish made from taro, grilled sea bream, and kelp — a recipe rooted in the Edo period.

The event also features a special performance of Iwami Kagura, a traditional Shinto Dance of the Gods, recognized as part of Japan Heritage.

We look forward to welcoming you to this annual celebration!
